Prediction of College according to Rank in AFU BSc Ag 2077.

There are total 78 Merit Seats and 50 UGC seats in Rampur. So students within merit rank 118 will get either Merit or UGC in Rampur. Students with rank 1-50 can choose and remaining has to study in either Merit or UGC. Then 47 students for UDF will get admitted in Rampur in UDF Seats with fee 2.2 Lakhs.

Then remaining students prefer Merit Seats in Other Affiliated colleges. So 160 students will get Merit seats, 20 students in each colleges. so till this, 325 students get admitted. Then 12 students will get UDF Seats in each government affiliated colleges and total 96 students get these seats. So, in total 421 students get admitted in these UGC, UDF and Merit Seats. Some of the students may leave the seats, so within 450 rank has chance to study in AFU Government colleges.

Quota seats can't be estimated, quota student may come from any merit rank. According to my experience, rank within 500-550 has high chance to study in AFU Government colleges. So keep checking AFU Admission Updates, counselling dates and remaining seats for counselling process. We will regularly update it in the App. There will be 5 Free/Scholarship seats in Private colleges of AFU too from MOE, Nepal Government. So fill that form and you can get that seats too : for students with rank after 300-800. Rank between 500-1200 has high chance for Private colleges of AFU in paying seats.

To calculate the Percentage of students from GPA, this formula is used by AFU for all the students and its same for all the students:-

Percentage in ISC/+2/SEE = (GPA * 25) - 10.

i.e. If your GPA is 3.5, then your equivalent percentage is : 3.5 * 25 - 10 = 77.5%. This process is same for all and it doesn't affect your result.

Merit List will be 100% Based on Entrance Exam score, published after 3-4 days of Result Sheet Publication by AFU.

प्रवेश परीक्षाको प्राप्ताङ्कलाई १००% अङ्क भार दिइनेछ । सोको आधारमा योग्यताक्रम (Merit List) को सूचि तयार गरी योग्यताक्रम (Merit) अनुसार नै विद्यार्थी भर्नाको लागि नामावली प्रकाशन गरिनेछ । अङ्क बराबर भएमा I.Sc./10+2 को कूल प्राप्ताङ्क (CGPA), सो पनि बराबर भएमा SEE/SLC को कूल प्राप्ताङ्क र सो पनि बराबर भएमा I.Sc./10+2 वोटानी, जुलोजी, केमेष्ट्री, फिजिक्स, गणितको प्राप्त अङ्कलाई आधार मानि योग्यताक्रम (Merit List) को सूचि तयार गरिनेछ ।

Predicted Marks required to study in Various AFU Colleges:-

1. AFU Rampur Merit Seats or UGC Seats : > 95 out of 120.

2. AFU Rampur UDF Seats : Around 90-95 marks.

3. AFU Affiliated Colleges : > 80 for any colleges and about 88-90 to chose your preferred college.

4. AFU Affiliated College UDF or Paying Seats : > 78.

5. AFU Private colleges : >65.

Admission Procedure :

Counseling Type, Students choose their choice of Priority College and UGC Seats or Normal Seats according to their Merit Rank.

Counselling Admission Process in simple words: Students and college admission team are in a office room. First Rank student come, choose either normal seat or UGC seat and choose the preferred college, submit the Admission fee or documents and get admission. Then again 2nd rank student follow the same procedure according to Merit Rank. So the choice is of students to read either in UGC Seat or Normal Scholarship seat and the student can also choose the college. If UGC Seats are packed by top ten Rank students than there is no choice of UGC Seats in counselling for other students after merit rank 10.

Note : If you are a single minute late too in AFU Counselling mentioned date and time by AFU, you will lose your precious seat. So be punctual in Counselling Day.

AFU fee Structure for Different seats:-

1. Merit Scholarship Seats - NRs. 6500 per semester and 45,000 for Full course. It provides free Hostel rooms in Rampur only, No Hostel in other Affiliated colleges. Hostel fooding costs about NRs. 6000 per month. Also, Japan visit for 2 Entrance Topper students.
You can earn these expenditure during Internship in last semester, 8th semester in AFU.
Also, AFU provides NRs. 3000 to Top 80 Students (50% Students) in Internal Exam of All semesters.
2. Quota Seats - Same as Merit Scholarship seats.
3. UDF/CDF Seats - NRs. 2 lakhs for 4 year in Two Installments and additional of NRs. 4200 per semester.
4. AFU Private Colleges - NRs. 8-10 Lakhs for full course for study only. About NRs.4-5 Lakhs Separate for fooding, lodging and College tour.
5. AFU UGC Scholarship Seats : No need to pay any fees for college. Government pay you NRs. 5000 every month for 48 Months, 4 year course.

Also AFU Government Campuses provides Free Educational Tours and NRs. 400 per day as pocket money during tour time.
But you have to pay separately in Private colleges under AFU for Tours.
